Ingredients
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
3 large eggs (room temp)
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
2 tbsp sliced almonds (optional)
Powdered sugar for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter.
2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, almond extract, vanilla, and salt.
3. Add flour and whisk until just combined.
4. Spread blueberries evenly in the dish.
5. Pour batter over the berries.
6. Top with sliced almonds if desired.
7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until puffed and golden.
8. Cool for 10–15 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
Notes
Let the batter rest for 20 minutes before baking to improve texture.
Use whole milk or half-and-half for creaminess.
Serve warm, room temp, or chilled the next day.
