Description
This no bake chocolate pie is rich, creamy, and simple to make. A buttery crust and smooth chocolate filling come together with minimal effort and zero oven time.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers or Oreo cookies
6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
1. Mix crushed cookies and melted butter; press into a pie dish.
2. Chill crust in refrigerator while preparing filling.
3. Heat cream until just simmering. Pour over chocolate chips.
4. Add 2 tbsp butter and stir until smooth.
5. Stir in vanilla and salt. Let cool slightly.
6. Pour filling into crust. Smooth top.
7. Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
8. Top with whipped cream or chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
Pie can be made a day ahead.
Store covered in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
